1. Stream ads for the music industry
Stream ads are 10–20 second audio spots played between tracks, typically once every three hours, across selected stations in the DripFeed Network.
Stream ads for surf bands
Promote a new release for $10 USD per month.
Provide your audio in 320 kbps MP3 format and we will schedule the advert on the most appropriate stations in our network (e.g. Surf Rock Radio, Surf Music Radio, Monstromental, Radio Lantau). This offers direct exposure to listeners who actively discover and buy surf music.
We reserve the right to reject ads that are not appropriate to our audience.
Stream ads for record labels
Promote multiple new releases for $50 USD per month.
This option is designed for labels releasing several titles over a short period. Ads should normally focus on recent or current releases (typically within the last three months).
Supply a single 10–20 second audio advert in 320 kbps MP3 format and we will schedule it across relevant stations in the network, providing consistent exposure to thousands of genre-specific listeners and collectors.
We reserve the right to reject ads that are not appropriate to our audience.
Important note on airplay and charts
Stream advertising does not influence how often your music is played, playlist placement, or ranking in the Official Surf Charts.
We do not, never have, and never will participate in pay-for-play schemes.
Music released within the last two months is more likely to be included in A-list rotation and therefore eligible for chart consideration, but advertising has no effect on this process.
Stream ads for record stores and music retailers
Promote your brick-and-mortar record store for $10 USD per month.
We strongly value independent music retail and believe physical formats remain a vital part of the surf and instro ecosystem. To support this, retail advertising is offered at a favourable rate.
If your store has a DripFeed Distribution agreement, the cost is reduced to $5 USD per month.
Ads should be supplied as 320 kbps MP3 audio and will be scheduled on relevant stations in the network.
2. Stream ads and banner ads for other businesses
Stream ads remain 10–20 seconds in length and are typically played once every three hours.
Surf-related brands and industries
Advertise for $350 USD per month.
This package includes:
- Stream advertising across appropriate stations
- Banner placement on selected DripFeed Network websites
Advertisers may also be contacted regarding additional sponsorship or promotional opportunities where appropriate.
Musical instrument and recording equipment manufacturers
Advertise for $350 USD per month.
Manufacturers of guitars, amplifiers, pedals, recording gear, and related products can advertise for $350 USD per month, combining stream ads with banner visibility across the network.
This provides direct access to an audience of musicians and enthusiasts deeply engaged with instrumental guitar music.
