There are many reasons for this and I&#39;ll post a few of them below, and add to the list as it develops.

1. Facebook interface is now unusable for handling multiple pages.
2. Data - a lot of my time is spent entering or processing data. Dripfeed automatically puts the data in the format I need.
3. DripFeed also posts to Facebook/twitter etc and can be programmed to delay posts to Facebook groups (like buffer), hence it drip feeds content to reach a wider group of people.
4. We own the platform and any digital equity created on the platform always belongs to us.
5. We can run our own ads on dripfeed.  Also get paid for google Adsense ads.
6. We can benefit from user flow (data mining).
7. Dripfeed has surf branding, status updates are in fender colours.
8. Everyone hates Facebook.
9. Better integration with music database, and generation statistics from it.
10. Bands can manage their own band profiles.
11. Music store is integrated into the system - also a radio station.  Dripfeed is a social network like Facebook, plus an integrated music store like bandcamp.
12. The site and data stored on it is scaleable.
